To start in an easy way, aim to drink
2 liters of liquid per day. I know it is not easy to switch to plain water straight away, but the secret is that you don’t need to!
Begin with your favourite herbal tea
You can begin with your favorite herbal or green tea and gradually add some infused water with lemon or mint and cucumber!
In Autumn and Winter it is more difficult to stick to cold water, but you always have options for tea or hot bouillon and slowly start adding water. With the time, you will develop this habit and one day you will realise you miss your water! I promise!
Water is hidden in many foods you already love
Did you know that all the juicy fruits and veggies contain loads of water and count towards your daily water intake? This is an easy and tasty way to ensure you drink the right amount of water, with the added benefits of vitamins and antioxidants.
Not a fan of fresh fruit and veg?
Another option to get your water intake is to drink more smoothies or freshly squeezed juices!
Approximately 70 to 90% of smoothies are actually water-dependent on the fruits and veggies you use, so it is yet another tasty and easy way to deliver cellular plant water to your cells! And so delicious!
Great news if you drink plant milks
Most plant milks are also based on water, which makes it very simple to add to your count with your morning cereal, your afternoon tea or when enjoyed fresh.
You see, it is not so difficult to drink more water! Simply a bit more planning when you go grocery shopping and adding more of your favourite foods I listed can result in a happy body that is full of energy. On top of it all, ensuring you get your recommended water intake will give you smooth, glowing skin!
